About the Mountain
The BagEnd hut is situated in the Ben Lomond ski resort area around 45 minutes drive from Launceston. We are a family atmosphere club with member interests including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing and photography. Many members come to BagEnd simply for a mountain retreat.
When Snow Falls, We’re Here
Our club is particularly busy in the winter season where members can enjoy Tassie snow conditions at its finest.
Recent improvements to the commercial infrastructure on the mountain has greatly improved the winter activities.

Our Facilities
BagEnd at Ben Lomond, accommodating up to 30 people, is so conveniently located, is warm and has great kitchen and bathroom facilities.
There is no television, phone or internet connection allowing you to really unwind and get away.
